Join FCBC for a Group Ride to Fresno Earth Day 2026!

The Ride
Gather at Cobb Fountain in front of Fresno City Hall (2600 Fresno St, P St side) at 9:30 AM. We’ll roll out together at 10:00 AM.
Our route takes us along P Street to Divisadero, north on San Pablo, and east on the Belmont protected bikeway — which passes under Highway 180 with no onramp crossing — then north on Van Ness to the Fresno City College campus. It’s a short, low-stress ride of less than 2 miles, designed to be accessible to all skill levels.
As we ride under Highway 180 on Belmont, keep your eyes right. The freeway columns over San Pablo Park are painted floor-to-ceiling with 20 murals by local artists — part of the Governor’s Clean California initiative. Paletas, birds in flight, orange trees, mountain skies: pure Fresno. We won’t stop, but it’s one of those only-in-Fresno moments worth savoring as we roll past.
Once you arrive, lock up at the free bike valet and enjoy Earth Day Fresno as long as you like. The ride is one-way — head home whenever you’re ready!

Community Bike Swap
This Earth Day join the Fresno County Bicycle Coalition for a community-powered Bicycle Parts Swap celebrating sustainability, connection, and second chances.
Instead of tossing old components into landfills, bring your gently used parts, tools, and accessories and trade them in a money-free exchange. Think of it as a yard sale for cyclists, but with bartering instead of buying. Whether you’re clearing out your garage, hunting for that one missing piece, or just want to connect with fellow riders, this is your chance to keep perfectly good gear rolling.
Let’s honor Earth Day by reducing waste, extending the life of our bikes, and supporting a more sustainable cycling community one swap at a time.
Celebrate Earth Day with a ride, and enjoy a car-free way to get to the event!
