GEAR UP Orientation and Training

A partnership between the Fresno County Bicycle Coalition and the Fresno State Transportation Institute (FSTI)

This mandatory orientation session prepares GEAR UP participants for safe e-bike use on and around the Fresno State campus.

What You’ll Learn:

• Hand signaling and street riding skills
• E-bike handling and safety
• Helmet fitting and use
• Bike storage on campus
• Navigating on-campus and off-campus routes

Format: 90-minute hybrid session — classroom instruction followed by on-bike practice.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothes suitable for riding. Helmets will be provided.
