Did you know that the City of Fresno has been working on updating the City's Active Transportation Plan (ATP) and that the draft ATP is now available for public comment? The ATP is the blueprint for developing the future of biking, walking (and rolling) in the City of Fresno, and is updated ideally every 5 years. We encourage everyone, and especially all cyclists, to check out the plan and give the City your feedback. Would you like to know more about it and have a say on what's in the Plan? Check it out at Fresno ATP Draft
The draft City of Fresno Active Transportation Plan's 30-day commenting period ends on March 5, 2026. Given how important this is, FCBC would like to invite FCBC members, as well as interested members of the public, to delve into the plan so we can submit comments to the City before the March 5 deadline. We plan to open the conversation at our monthly member meeting at 6:30 -7 pm on Tuesday Feb 17, 2026 on zoom, but please join us on Tuesday February 24, 2026 starting at 7 pm for a dedicated discussion led by FCBC board member John Liu. We will present some highlights and get your feedback.
