Due to popular demand for live and in person events, we have decided to give it ago this month in having our first live and in person FCBC Bike Café this Thursday 7/13 at Gazebo Gardens located at 3204 N Van Ness Blvd from 6pm - 7pm! (We are thinking this will be early enough to allow attendees arriving by bike to get home before dusk if so desired?)
In addition to the usual food truck and beverage opportunities, we'd like to keep things casual as possible and will emphasize open conversation without a formal presentation. We would like to focus, however, on the topic of “What fun bike rides should FCBC organize in the coming year?” We would like everyone to share their ideas on themes, their favorite local meeting spots, destinations, and best routes to get there by bike.
We also plan to do a brief “outgoing board member recognition” for Dr. Juan Flores to show our deep appreciation for his service as FCBC Membership Coordinator, for his invaluable contributions to our organization in developing FCBC's strategic plan, and key role is numerous grant submissions. We will also welcome Edna Pedroza Alkurdi as our newest FCBC board member who will be taking on the role of FCBC Membership Coordinator.
