The City of Fresno Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Fresno City Leaders and Safety advocates will host World Day of Remembrance. The event will remember, support and act on behalf of crash victims killed on Fresno County roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families and communities.
Event activities will include:
3 PM Memorial bike ride from Fresno City Hall to Tower Theater and back sponsored by Fresno County Bicycle Coalition, leaving promptly at 3 pm
Helmets strongly encouraged! Ride waiver and release of liability form available at Fresno WDOR Bike Ride.
BPAC sponsored helmets and bike lights will be available for distribution at the event.
4 PM Remembrance Ceremony with Invited Speakers. Vision Zero Resolution and Vision Zero pledge at Fresno City Hall
5 PM Candlelight Vigil Walk & Lighting of the Fresno Water Tower in downtown
