Do you know all you need to know to safely ride a bike with traffic? Do you feel you know enough to teach your children how to ride cautiously and conspicuously while on their own? When you drive your car, are you confident on how to share the road with people on bikes?

The Smart Cycling program gives you the tips, tools, and techniques to confidently to answer YES to each question. Our classes are taught by certified League Cycling Instructors (LCI).

This is the first part of the class, which you must take before Part II. Part II is focused on the outdoor activities. Part I, the classroom portion of the class, is a three-hour session, or you may take Traffic Skills 101 online. Part I is free both in person and online.

Participants who successfully complete both portions of the course, pass the written multiple-choice test, and pass a 5-mile road test will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
