Join us for an exploration of some of the Class 1 bike paths in Northeast Fresno.  These facilities are generally considered the gold standard for safe bicycle riding, as you are completely separated from the road.  They are not without their challenges as you will see, but they provide a safe and fun way to get around.

We'll explore a loop including Woodward Park, Riverpark, access to the river and a number of shopping, dining, entertainment, and education destinations.  While we ride we will discuss potential changes to design standards and laws that could make these safer and more enjoyable, and the importance of a network of trails and bike lanes to make bicycling an attractive option in the city of Fresno.

Meet at the art of life in Woodward Park, at Friant and Fort Washington
