Bike Through History is co-sponsored by the City of Fresno, Fresno County Bicycle Coalition, the Cal Alumni Group of Fresno and the Valley Air District.

The ride will begin at the 1894 Old Fresno Water Tower (HP#001/National Register of Historic Places), 2444 Fresno Street. From the Water Tower groups of 20 will be led on a route which will include stops at several historic buildings. Volunteer docents and/or property owners will be available at each location to give a brief history of the site.

The ride is intended for participants 10 and up (with 16 and under accompanied by a parent). Children in bike trailers are ok. Participants need to have a bike in good working condition and a helmet. The event is free, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
